The purpose of the Baby Blues Programme is to encourage as many year 10 and year 11 Auckland based rowers and coxswains to experience rowing outside of their own school or club and learn new skills and form new friendships in a fun, engaging and social environment.

The camps are designed to introduce new skills and learnings that can be utilised over the next school season. Those involved will also have the opportunity to row in boat classes that they may not have tried before in a fun and enjoyable setting.

To ensure that camps are fun and engaging whilst running smoothly and safely, we can only have so many rowers and coxswains attend a camp – meaning we may have to have capped numbers for camps.

As such, you can attend one of the below three camps –

Camp 1:

Dates: Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th July 2024

Time: 9am – 2pm (both days)

Venue: West End Rowing Club

Camp 2:

Dates: Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th July 2024

Time: 9am – 2pm (both days)

Venue: West End Rowing Club

Camp 3:

Dates: Saturday 20th & 21st July 2024

Time: 9am – 2pm (both days)

Venue: West End Rowing Club

We know people are still away for the school holidays, so to keep it fair the sign up forms for each camp will be opened at 7pm on Sunday 19th May 2024 – you will be able to find the forms on this page at this time. We will send reminders via email and social media.
