Auckland Regional Team – Expressions of Interest

Join the New Auckland Regional Team for 2025 and beyond!

We are excited to provide this new structure for the Auckland region to support our athletes who aspire to row for New Zealand in senior teams.

The Auckland Regional Team is for athletes already on the path towards, or close to, New Zealand U23 and Elite Team selection.

Athletes involved in this Team will receive dedicated coaching with a prescribed training programme tailored to develop and prepare athletes for success at Nationals 2026 and to be in the best position to be awarded a NZ U23 and / or NZ Elite trial.

Our programme will also support athletes in reaching their full potential through high-performance training, an uncompromising culture of excellence and providing dedicated athletes with a direct pipeline to NZ U23 and Elite Teams.

Spaces into this Team will be limited to ensure the standard of training remains high.

We are also excited to announce that this Team will compete at the prestigious Head of the Yarra Regatta in November 2025 – one of the biggest regattas in the world, athletes will get to boat against top international athletes and battle through the Yarra river course.

Join us and take the next step in your rowing journey!
